First things first: this is not an emergency channel

Whatever you write here, we read during practice hours — not at night, not at weekends. If it is urgent, or if you are in a crisis, please call. These numbers answer around the clock:

Signing in

How do I sign in? I do not have a password.

You do not need one. You enter your email address and we send you a link. Tap that link — and you are in.

The link is valid for 15 minutes and can be used once. After that you simply request a new one.

This way there is no password that can be lost or fall into the wrong hands.
No email arrives. What now?
  • Please also check your spam folder.
  • Did you press the button several times? Then only the most recent link works — the earlier ones no longer do.
  • We may still have an old address for you. In that case use “No link received?” on the sign-in page and tell us where it should go.

We check this by hand and unlock your access. It takes one to two working days. If it is urgent, call us: 043 200 20 20.

My email address has changed.

At the top of the patient area you will see “Signed in with … · change email address”. Enter the new address there.

We send a confirmation link to the new address. Only when you tap it does the new address take effect — until then everything stays as it was. That way nobody else can enter an address for you.

How do I put the area on my phone?

Open the page in your browser and choose “Add to Home Screen” (iPhone: the share symbol at the bottom; Android: the three dots at the top right).

After that it looks like an app — no installation, no app store, no account.

What you will find in the area

Messages from your practice

At the very top are messages we have written to you — a note before your next appointment, for instance, or information about your medication. New ones are marked “neu” (new).

You will also receive an email saying only that something is waiting for you. The content is deliberately not in the email; it is only here, behind your sign-in.

You can reply where we explicitly ask you to — then a short reply box appears below the message. Otherwise not: this area is not a chat line to the practice.
Making a request — prescription, travel certificate, appointment

Under “Was können wir für Sie tun?” (What can we do for you?) you choose your concern. Each has its own short form, and your details are already filled in:

  • Ordering medication — a repeat prescription for a preparation you already have from us. We send it to your pharmacy electronically in advance (you receive a copy of that email) and the original by post. You can usually collect it after 2–3 working days.
  • Travel certificate — for taking medication across the border. We need your ID number, destination and travel dates.
  • Moving or cancelling an appointment — tell us which appointment it is about and what would suit you.
  • Something else — a free message to the practice.

After sending you see a confirmation straight away. As a rule we get back to you within one working day.

Your requests — what became of them?

Everything you have sent us appears in the card “Ihre Anfragen bei uns” (your requests) with the date and its status:

  • in Arbeit — in progress: it has reached us and we are dealing with it.
  • erledigt — done: we have completed it.

So you do not have to ask whether something arrived — you can see it yourself.

“Für Sie” — material we have unlocked for you

Sometimes we unlock something for you: an explanation, a video, an information sheet about your treatment. It appears in the card “Für Sie” (for you).

None of it replaces a conversation. Questions about it are welcome at your next appointment.

“Mein Protokoll” — recording mood and medication

If we have agreed this with you, you will find your diary here: you briefly record how you are doing and how the medication is working. It takes less than a minute.

We see the entries in your file — that makes the next conversation more precise, because nobody has to estimate from memory weeks later.

If you do not see this item, it has not been set up for you. Just say so if you would like it.

What this area is not for

Acute crises and emergencies

Please do not use this form. We only read it during practice hours. Use the numbers at the top of this page — they answer around the clock.

Questions about diagnosis and dosage

Everything medical we discuss in person, not in passing in writing. That is why the forms do not ask about it: diagnosis, prescription and dosage stay with the practice.

Long accounts and reports from others

A detailed account belongs in your appointment. Please send us reports from other practitioners by post or bring them along — then they are safely in your file.

Your data

Where is what I write stored?

On the practice’s own server in Switzerland. No cloud, no advertising company, no sharing with third parties.

Everything you see here sits behind your sign-in. That is why we never put content into an email — an email only tells you that something is waiting.

Who can see what I write?

Dr. med. univ. Michael Pramstaller and Dr. phil. Maria Pramstaller — the two people who treat you anyway. Nobody else.
